"Hope is a van" Finland. Taken During Walk Europe. in July 2023. This was a rough day for me. I was struggling with a breaking heart and isolation from being so far north and not having many people to talk to. Seeing someone on an adventure shooting through the walls of the trees into a gentle pink sunset helped for some reason.
Connecticut. Taken during Walk America in September 2022. The leaves had been driving me absolutely bonkers because I couldn't stop taking pictures of them. I had a recurring joke that wasn't very funny that I was taking pictures of power lines and kept being photobombed by the leaves.
"Connecticut Archipelago". Taken During Walk America as I walked along the Connecticut Coastline one evening looking for a spot to sleep in September 2022
"Please Take Off Your Shoes and Frolick Please" Taken during Walk America in Connecticut in September 2022. I remember being near an old college and stuck my phone through the bars of an iron fence in order to get this shot. Man, I haven't thought about those days in a long time. They were happy days!
"Waiting on a Train, You Don't Know Where This Train Will Take you". Long title referencing the movie "Inception". This was taken in Perkasie, Pennsylvania during Walk America in September 2022. One of the cities I remember for the lovely photo taking conditions that day. I've been back since, its still charming.
"Monet Could Never Touch North Carolina". This was taken in July 2022 near Ahoskie. A man named Scott had invited me to his home from the side of the road and this was the view from his dock at his riverside home that he had built himself. He owned an insulation company I believe.
"Rainbows Dripping on my Head". This was taken during Walk America in South Carolina in June 2022 as I was taking a series of bridges across a series of Islands. I kept getting hit by thunderstorms. I remember I was listening to a book called "Iron Gold" and sat waiting out a huge deluge while the water level slowly crept up around my feet. Then the rain stopped abruptly and left only this rainbow and the last few drips of water emerging from the bridge pipes.
"Don't mind me Dog-Walker". This was taken in South Carolina as I struggled mightliy to find somewhere to sleep in July 2021. I had a hard time moving on from taking pictures of this sunset and remember I thought I might be creeping out a lady walking her dog with my homeless appearance. I then had to eventually give up on finding a free place to stealth camp and slept in an expensive and dirty motel
"Flamingo Flavored Cotton Candy". Taken in Colorado during Walk America outside a town named Las Animas. Shortly after this a beat up car rolled up with three eccentric looking people who invited me to dinner. I then went to their house, watched the movie "Dune" with them, and fell asleep sneezing from the allergy I had to their cats.
"Check out this Weirdo". Taken in September 2021 during Walk America in Montana. I remember this spot because I cannot for the life of me remember where I was. A lot of my time in Montana still feels like a fever dream of sorts.

"High Altitude Sunset". Taken in Aconcagua, Argentina in January 2024 at camp 2 on the way to summit the highest mountain outside the Himalayas
